This view looking up the South Fork of the Shoshone River beckoned us to continue our trek into the wilds of Wyoming. This was the view we enjoyed during a stop along the trail to enjoy a quick lunch. Though a misty rain had begun to fall, prompting us to retrieve our rain slickers from the backs of our saddles, our spirits were not dampened.
